Brothers Boards is far beyond what most would consider a normal skateboard store. It has long since been a institution that defies contemporary definition, does not cater to trends or numbers and focuses it's core energy on one thing; team. The progression and emphasis on team has been carefully fine tuned under a single roof by a single owner for this past decade. This fine tuned body runs on the loyalty, personality and work ethic of many men who have dedicated their lives to something much greater than a skate shop. This is a home, with a family, where every member of that family plays a integral role in the productivity, legacy, and aesthetic of what comes in and out of its doors. Hello my name is Taryn, and I am a part of a team promoting an awesome event in the Denver area. Each summer Journeys puts on a free all ages music and action sports tour called the Journeys Backyard BBQ Tour, and this year the tour is stopping in Denver on June 23rd at Colorado Mills Mall. This event will be full of action sports demos, concerts from indie rock/punk bands, athlete and band meet and greets, and tons of free giveaways.
ReplyDeleteThis tour features a rare free concert by Eve 6 and Battle of the Bands performances with local acts. Additionally, well known extreme sport athletes will be performing including Chad Reed, Barney Page, Aiden Campbell and more.
This would be a great event to cover in your blog because of its fun atmosphere, popular music performances, giveaways, and action sports: and it is all for free. Also, your coverage of this event would result in a chance for free all-access and VIP area press passes for meeting bands and athletes.
